We are excited to launch a new range of painting and printing workshops in our brand spanking new Art Studio in Art House West Croydon.
This course will focus on teaching you the fundamental techniques and things to consider when working in Acrylic paint.
Using a range of vibrant still lives as the subject and introducing you to the stay wet palette and a range of colours to give you a solid grounding in colour mixing and matching.
You will learn
- How to stretch and prime a canvas/board and prepare paper for painting
- A Selection of under-drawing techniques
- Which brushes to use
- How and why to use a stay wet palette
- The best colours to use to start with and how to mix and blend them
Dates and Times
The course will run from Wednesday the 22nd – 24 of Jan 2019 and again from the 25th -27th March to get booked in click HERE.
It will be from 10am to 4.30pm daily.
There will be a lunch break between about 1 and 1.45pm . Lunch will not be provided but feel free to bring your own. There is a large and airy breakout space in the building where we can eat and very basic kitchen facilities.
